*  On Sept, 14, 1998, Norton resolved an ongoing legal situation (some say court ordered, but I don’t know that for certain) by pulling Norton Uninstaller Deluxe 1.0 and Symantec Uninstaller Deluxe 1.0 and creating an “enhanced version” to remove their products off of computers.  To compensate people for their problems and aggravation, Norton included several of their products. 

By the way, don’t fall for that $4 internet ad for Norton Uninstaller Deluxe 1.0.  That is either the product Norton pulled, or the follow up issue that wasn’t much better.  Remember, we are going back to 1998 here.  How much help to you for you in this century?
