Uninstall Norton 360

If you download and install a Norton 360 upgrade, you may have a problem and need to uninstall Norton 360. Removing Norton 360 is not simple, and many people think you have to reformat your hard drive.

However, you may encounter that you have to Remove all Norton products, including Norton 360 as Norton tends to block its own upgrades.

While there are many good features to Norton 360 - there are abundant positive reviews on the internet - the fact that it is constantly running takes a lot of resources that make most computers run noticably slower. The online back up service is possibly its best feature.

We recommend replacing Norton 360 with the CA Security Suite and independently Carbonite for online back up. It will cost a few dollars more, but we believe you will be more satisfied with the results.

Thanks for the help getting Karen's machine settled with the Norton Uninstaller.

I had used the Vista program uninstaller and then used this program and there were several more files and entrys under Norton and Symantec that I was able to eliminate.
