Will General Or All Purpose Registry Cleaners Work?

They will work, but only partially.  The Norton Removal Tool, and others, remove part of the program and break some of the links and connections between registry entries and files.  It is these orphaned registry entries that the cleaners will remove. 

While a step in the right direction, there are a lot of files and registry entries left behind that are attached to your Windows operating system.  This is why you may still have problems with Norton and even installing a new security system....or installing a Norton Upgrade.

Why Not Just Use The Norton Removal Tool?

They don't work. At least not completely. (See what Norton says about it.) The reason is that some versions of Norton install up to 2,500 files and registry entries. The Norton Removal Tool leaves as many as 1,800. They will come back to haunt you.

These remnants can block the installation of Norton upgrades or other security software. They can also interfere with these and other software.

Also, general registry cleaner products do not recognize all of the Norton remnants as requiring removal.

Uninstall Norton is the only software product that will identify and remove all of these files and registry entries.

Will Uninstall Norton work for me if I have already uninstalled or removed part of the Norton software and I'm having problems getting the rest out?

Absolutely, Uninstall Norton will work under these conditions. Many of our customers have tried the Norton Removal Tool or other resources and are having residual problems. Uninstall Norton will take care of residual Norton problems.

Will Uninstall Norton work for me?

In most cases, yes. Based upon our refund rate, we estimate that it works 97-98% of the time. Let's take a closer look at this question.

To start with, we all know that not every software product is going to work on every machine properly 100% of the time. But let's move on to specifics.

1. Some sort of mal ware - spy ware, trojans, viruses - will interfere. This is the number one issue. So we provide three high quality cleaners for you to use. Two are actually free, but among the best we have ever found at any price. One is not free. It sells for $29.95. But because of a special licensing arrangement, we can offer it at no cost to our customers (We cannot sell it).
2. Running Services. In most cases, the cleaners we provide will stop services from running that interfere with our software. But not always. So we created a module to Stop Services ... stop all services except for Windows services, which are required for your computer to run.
3. Human Reasons. Though we try to make the complex issue of Uninstalling Norton as easy as possible, it cannot be completely automated because of the number of variables. As humans, we are all different and have a wide variety of learning modes and aptitudes.
   
   We try to make the instructions clear to all by presenting them in different sections, using screen shots, and talking "computereze" as little as possible. But there is always room for improvement. Please let us know whenever the instructions are not clear to you and we will try to improve our communication.

What if Uninstall Norton does not work for me?

Sometime problems are so deeply imbedded that reformatting the hard drive is the only solution.  But this is not required as frequently as one might imagine.  We will do everything we can to help you avoid this.

If your problem is this severe, you can request a refund or upgrade to have our highly skilled technicians uninstall Norton for you. But remember, well over 90% of our customers are able to Uninstall Norton themselves using our software.

What is your Guarantee and Refund Policy?

If we can't help you, we don't feel it is fair to keep your money. If you are not satisfied with our software for any reason, just let us know within 30 days and we will refund 100% of your purchase price by the next business day at the latest. Usually the same day.

What if I want you to Uninstall Norton for me?

We can remote into your computer and Uninstall Norton for you. We charge a very reasonable $30 in addition to the price of the software.

How do I pay for Uninstall Norton software or your uninstall services?

How is my software delivered?

Software is delivered over the internet. (Though the wording on Google CheckOut may cause somebody to think that there is a physical shipment, we cannot change that part and there is NO PHYSICAL DELIVERY). After your purchase is completed, you will be taken to a page with your download link. It also has a link to your instructions page.

As a back up, you are emailed a copy of the download link and the link to the instructions.

What if I cannot download my software?

99% of the time this is because of problems on your computer such as spy ware, viruses, trojans.... some sort of mal ware.  The free cleaners we provide our customers with almost always take care of this problem.
